What is a High School & Beyond Plan and why do I complete one now?
One of the new graduation requirements for the Class of 2021 is for each student to have a document that reflects their answer to the ESSENTIAL QUESTION and what courses the student is planning to take in high school to support that answer. The state calls this document the High School & Beyond Plan (HSBP). Students started the HSBP in 8th grade prior to registering for 9th grade classes and then you will update the HSBP each year during the registration process. The HSBP steers course selection and credit requirements (more on that later).
Where do I go to get started on my HSBP?
The HSBP is incorporated into the registration process. The link to the Class of 2021 registration and HSBP can be found on the MHS 2021 Home page. It will open up on February 26th.
